We were strong; the offspring of powerful families that once ruled Scotland for their King. Their names are remembered and honoured but their child has faded like a shadow at dusk. We were almost forgotten by Scotland, but Scotland we never forgot. While our numbers dwindled in our homeland, they grew abroad. Still growing in number and, like a bear coming out of hibernation, we are awakening and remembering more of our past. While our history was almost lost forever, enough has remained to know who we were. Here, once again, our story will be told. Let the world remember with us!
